1. Who We Are
The website vigilessa.com and the Vigilessa service are operated by SYNTRANOVA AL LTD, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus, registration no. HE 485824, VAT code 60296296V, with its registered office at Nikis 1, Anthoupoli, 2350 Nicosia, Cyprus (“Syntranova”, “we”). You can contact us at legal@vigilessa.com or +40 737 872 380.
2. What is Vigilessa
Vigilessa is software that analyzes footage from your surveillance cameras and cross-references it with data from your POS or cash register system to flag discrepancies (such as handing over a product without a receipt) and generate alerts and reports.
Vigilessa is loss-prevention and monitoring software, not a licensed security or guarding service. We do not provide on-site guards, intervention, dispatch, or continuous operator monitoring. Alerts are automated indicators and must be verified by the client.
3. Website Information
The content on this website is for informational purposes only. Images and videos are illustrative, created for presentation, and do not depict real clients or incidents.
The loss calculator provides an indicative estimate based on the figures you enter. It does not represent a guaranteed result.
Blog articles and guides do not constitute legal advice.
4. Orders & Contracts
The service is provided based on an order or a separate contract with each client, specifying the duration, price, equipment, and support level. In case of discrepancies, the signed contract prevails.
A demo or quote request submitted via the website does not create any obligations for either party until written confirmation of the terms.
5. Client Obligations
- to have a legal basis for video surveillance and comply with national employment and data-protection rules and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR);
- to inform employees in advance and display notices for customers and visitors;
- to conduct, where required, a data protection impact assessment (DPIA) and consult employee representatives;
- not to monitor prohibited areas (changing rooms, restrooms, break rooms);
- to verify each alert before making any decision regarding a person;
- to use the service only for lawful purposes.
6. Limitation of Liability
Automated analysis may generate false alarms or fail to detect certain incidents, depending on camera angles, lighting, image quality, and data received from your POS or cash register system. We do not guarantee prevention of all losses.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses or for decisions made by the client solely on the basis of an unverified alert. The applicable liability limits are set out in the contract.
7. Intellectual Property
The software, Vigilessa brand, texts, images, and graphic elements of the website belong to Syntranova or its partners and may not be copied or used without written consent.
8. Personal Data
How we process data of visitors and those who contact us is described in our Privacy Policy. For images processed on behalf of clients, the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) applies.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is the one published on this page, with the date of the latest update.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes will be settled amicably, or if not possible, by the competent courts in Romania.
