Good news: in most restaurants and shops, your existing cameras will work. What matters is where they’re placed and how clearly the work area is visible.
What to Check First
- what type of recorder you have (NVR or DVR) and if it allows video stream access;
- camera resolution and lighting in the checkout or handover area;
- angle: products should be visible from above, not the side, and not blocked by hands.
When to Add a New Camera
If the handover area isn’t covered or is only seen from the side, a small camera mounted above makes all the difference. It’s just one camera, not a whole new system.
The Mini Computer by the Recorder
A small, fanless computer processes images locally and only sends incidents. This keeps your internet free, and the system keeps running even if the connection drops briefly.
To get started, we just need a few photos from your cameras and your POS / cash register model.
